The Herbert family has been farming on their land close to Edberg, Alberta for more than 50 years! Murray Herbert spent most of his growing up years at the farm with his parents and siblings, and now Murray and Carolyn have raised their own family of 5 children on the Herbert Farm too. 

 

Over the past 50 years, many changes have happened in agriculture and how farming happens out in the field. Many upgrades and changes have happened on the Herbert Farm in the past years as well. Our desire is to always be looking for ways we can farm better, and to continue to bring our customers quality products year after year. 

   

The Herbert Farm is a "family farm" where it truly is a farming experience for the whole family. Not only is the entire Herbert family involved with the farm throughout various times of the year, but we have had the privilege of inviting other families onto our farm over the years. These families have had the opportunity to experience farming at its best - whether that was going for a ride in the combine, collecting eggs from our laying hen flock, or harvesting vegetables from our garden. Family is very important to us, and we believe in the need for families to be built up and encouraged by spending time together.
